Service Credit Purchase Cost Calculator

The calculation of the cost to purchase retirement credit consists of two parts. The first is an estimate of the cost to purchase each year of credit. The second is an estimate of the maximum number of years that can be purchased.

You cannot be eligible for benefits from the pension plan for which you are purchasing service credit.

If your VSTRS Current Service Credit and the above Subtotal is at least 15 years you are eligible to purchase service credit for Federal Service.
