Since 1997, through our Tangible Assets program, we have offered free financial literacy training to low and moderate income central Vermonters. We offer financial education on all subjects, including budgeting, saving, retirement, credit and debit cards, banking, insurance, investing, identity theft, income tax planning, and credit building and repair. We also offer one-to-one financial counseling and credit clinics. We regularly schedule both comprehensive courses and single classes and are available to conduct employer-sponsored classes on a sliding scale. Through our Micro Business Development Program we offer business financial education called Business Building Blocks and personal financial education called Build Your Money Muscles.
