Details
Since 1997, through our Tangible Assets program, we have offered free financial literacy training to low and moderate income central Vermonters. We offer financial education on all subjects, including budgeting, saving, retirement, credit and debit cards, banking, insurance, investing, identity theft, income tax planning, and credit building. We also offer one-to-one financial counseling and credit clinics. Through our Micro Business Development Program we offer business financial education through our Business Building Blocks and personal financial education through Build Your Money Muscles. Employer-sponsored financial classes are available on a sliding scale.

Resource for Adults and High School students
Details
Financial Literacy workshops are offered and cover a variety of topics including budgeting, identity theft, credit/debit cards, credit building and repair, and asset protection. These workshops are open to area high schools, as well as community based organizations, at no charge.

VSECU

Resource for K-12 and Adults
Details
Services are offered to residents of Orange county through the Montpelier office. Free workshops and seminars are available statewide on a range of financial topics including budgeting, debt management, credit cards, credit reports and scores, and homebuying. Guest speakers also are available for groups and schools. Web-based financial literacy programs for elementary, middle and high school youth are available through the credit union web site.
