Individual money management counseling is offered to credit union members on such topics as budgeting and debt management. Employees also are available to present in area schools on financial management. Curriculum used includes the National Endowment for Financial Education High School Financial Planning Program. Financial education services are free.

Education and personal assistance is offered to both those seeking to buy a home and homeowners. An 8-hour homebuyer workshop provides an overview of the homebuying process. Individual assistance includes credit report reviews and developing a homebuying plan. Homeowners may receive help with refinancing, delinquency intervention and foreclosure prevention.

Details
The TD Bank WOW! Zone is an online, interactive learning tool for children and teens and provides valuable information about money, saving, banking and investing. TD Bank WOW! Zone also provides grade appropriate lesson plans for educators on a range of financial topics and gives parents helpful suggestions for talking to kids about money. Inquiries and arrangements for presenters are coordinated through the Public Affairs Officer. Employees from all of TD Bank's offices regularly participate in financial literacy efforts.
