The events are hosted by Treasurer Pieciak’s Task Force on the Federal Transition and will provide an opportunity for Vermonters to share their concerns and ideas for action.

“The Trump administration has created tremendous uncertainty throughout Vermont’s communities, while tariffs, funding freezes, and workforce cuts are directly impacting our economy,” said Treasurer Pieciak. “During these difficult times, it’s critical for lawmakers to lean in, listen, and meet Vermonters where they are. I’m grateful for the support of local legislators in hosting these town halls so we can have real conversations about the challenges Vermonters are facing and the solutions we can build together.”
Both events are free and open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to RSVP in advance, as space is limited. Treasurer Pieciak’s Task Force plans to host additional town halls in other communities across Vermont.
Members of the press are encouraged to RSVP to david.kunin@vermont.gov.
