Medicare-Eligible Retirees and Dependents
All Vermont Blue Advantage (VBA) applications must be signed and dated on or after October 5, 2024 for an effective date of January 1, 2025.
What is the cost: Rates for the VBA plans are going up by 10% this year. All VSTRS Medicare premium rates for 2025 can be found HERE.
If you are currently enrolled in either the VEHI or VBA VSTRS 65 plan and pay a $0 premium, you will continue to pay a $0 premium in 2025.
In order to make a change, send in the appropriate form by November 15, 2024 for changes effective January 1, 2025. If you miss the deadline and wish to make a change before the new year, you may still make a change, however you may not receive your new plan information before the end of the year.
